Quick and Easy Easter Card

Before we leave today for an Easter Egg Hunt and Supper with some family, I made one more Easter card for the young girls. I used a colored digi image, "Spring Trimmings," from Clear Dollar Stamps to make it quick and easy. I had made several backgrounds for cards so that I'd have something quick when I needed it. That cut the time considerably.  Then I printed the image and sentiment, cut it out, and pop dotted I on a doily. The doily needed a solid background, so I cut a scalloped circle using my largest Spellbinder's die in that set. I added flowers, made the sentiment into a tag, and tied it on the basket with white hemp.

This image set also had a set of 3 matching eggs, which I printed on the bottom of the inside panel. In Photoshop, I copied the three, chose File/New and set the dimensions for a 4" x 6" cardstock. I pasted it twice on the  new document, moved them to the bottom edge and printed. I enjoyed using this set pre-colored in order to save time, but it has all the images in outline form as well, along with many other springtime images.

Paper - Close To My Heart "Mayberry" paper pack
Accents - Wilton doily; CTMH flowers, ribbon, hemp, and olive brads, Recollections white flower
Tools - printer, Spellbinder's Nestabilities Scalloped Circle die
