Sending Sunshine

Today started with a thunderstorm which moved through quickly and was replaced by sunshine lighting up all the brightly blooming trees and shrubs in my yard. The amazing thing about sunshine after a storm is that you appreciate it even more than when you have sunshine day after day. Life is so similar. After a stretch of problems we appreciate the good things in life even more when the problems subside. Here's a card I hope will brighten someone's day with it's sunny colors.

I love this sketch from Just Add Ink.  I plan to use it many times!

I stamped the bright citrus slices using the CTMH May Stamp of the Month. I thought the wedge shape within the citrus pieces matched the triangle shapes on the patterned paper from the new Beautiful Friendship paper pack. I chose a sentiment from Cricut Flower Market and the background shape that also had citrus and the words from the Cricut Artistry cartridge. That shape was matted on white glitter paper that you can see better in this close-up. I added a few gold glitter gems for a little more sparkle.
