CTMH Lollydoodle Scrapbook Layouts and Cards

When I first saw the Lollydoodle paper pack in the Spring/Summer Idea Book this year, I thought I wouldn't use it that much. Little did I know that as I worked with it I fell in love with it. Here are three of the layouts I made from one paper pack. The first two are the designs I created using the stickers, Lollydoodle assortment, and the Flamingo Dots. The last one is part of the Workshop on the Go. Tomorrow is the last day that the CTMH Lollydoodle paper and embellishments will be available so I'm also re-posting my previous cards made with Lollydoodle.

I decided to make the last layout a heritage Easter layout with photos from my childhood. It uses the Cricut Artiste cartridge to make the background shape. The stamps and embellishments were part of the Lollydoodle Workshop on the Go.

I did make a 4th layout, but put it in someone's album so it wasn't handy at photo time. Here's the sample made by CTMH. This is NOT my layout or my photos. I'm including it for my customers who still haven't completed their layouts or added photos yet.

Here are the Lollydoodle cards I had previously posted.

CTMH Jubilee Summer Scrapbook Layouts

Today I wanted to show two of the Jubilee layouts I just finished. I have been highlighting each day this past week some of the papers or stamps that will no longer be available after Thursday.  The Jubilee paper pack, workshop on the go, and complements (chipboard stickers) are still available as I write this, but I've been seeing other packs disappear from my online business site the last few days as they sell out. I made four layouts (8 pages) from my workshop kit, including two designed by Close To My Heart or Jeanette Lynton. All four of these layouts are for my monthly scrapbook club.

Here are the two layouts that I designed, adding some extra cardstock for the background.

I love the bright Cranberry, Indian Corn Blue, Honey, and Topiary color theme and the "Summertime" title. It was perfect for a layout highlighting some of the main activities we did with our grandkids on our trip this month.

Here's a close-up of the left page. The title and embellishments are all chipboard. The photos are 4" x 6" and 3" x 4."
The right page has photos that are 4" x 6" and 4" x 5."
I'm sharing this first layout with the following challenges:
Color My Heart Color Dare #103 -  Cranberry, Indian Corn Blue, Honey, and Topiary
Tuesday Throwdown #206 - other than a card or tag
Crafty Boots Challenge - Summer Holidays
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Summertime Fun
Love to Create #126 - Summer Lovin'
Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #15 - Vacation related

My son's family wasn't able to come this year. Although his vacation date had been approved, he saw that his work load was rapidly increasing. So he had to cancel his reservation at the campground.  Just before we left, his wife unfortunately fell and tore some tendons. He called to tell me how he felt God knew they wouldn't be able to go and helped him cancel early enough to get his reservation money refunded. So I made this Jubilee layout so his family is not totally left out!

This left page has all 4" x 6" photos. It has chipboard embellishments and triangle durables.

The right page has 4" x 6" and 4" x 4" photos.

Here are the two layouts that are included in the Workshop on the Go, which I DIDN'T make.  Close To My Heart keeps the design info and second layout for a year on our websites under "Products."

Sparkle and Shine Workshop On The Go

Just before Christmas our scrapbook club  had planned to meet to make Sparkle and Shine layouts, but an ice storm had other plans. We finally got to meet Saturday. Here are the four layouts they made. If you live in our area, you may be interested to know that we always make four layouts. I have all of the pieces cut so that you don't have to take time cutting your papers. You can look at my examples to speed the process of construction. If you're one of the ladies who missed that day, hopefully these photos will help you.

The first two are from the Workshops On the Go brochure, using the CTMH stamps.

The last two use the chipboard complements that match the Sparkle and Shine workshop. I roughly based them on the level two layouts Jeanette Lynton gives us on her website.

I added the rest of the stitched dots on the bottom. I sanded the edges of the juniper cardstock and  decided to score two lines near the top and sand them for contrast.

This last layout uses photos I took of our scrapbook club  last year. If you were there that day,  I made a set of the photos for you.

Our scrapbook club meets again on January 18th to make winter layouts using the Frosted paper pack.  You can see the Frosted workshop picture here. The second layout is here. The Level 2 layouts that use the Stickease complements are here.

Yellowstone Layouts Using Tommy Paper & My Sheri Crafts Inspiration

My husband gave me the greatest gift this summer. He arranged for grandchildren to join us on a memorable vacation to The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. Joy shared is an even greater joy.  I've been showing the kids our vacation photos for years and talking to them about the amazing creation God has given us to enjoy. It was so much more meaningful to let them see it firsthand.

These are the first four layouts I've made about our trip. They are part of a workshop  for my scrapbooking friends. The first one is part of the Close To My Heart Tommy Workshop on the Go. The others roughly use Magic patterns and inspiration from CTMH friends. I made all four layouts to hold more photos close to 4" x 6."  They used an incredible set of matching canvas stickers and Tommy Assortment of embellishments, which had many Stickease left over when I was finished. If you are one of my workshop ladies, hopefully these will help you know how to add photos. Scroll down under the first four layouts to see individual pages enlarged.

Stella Workshop on the Go Layouts

Today my biggest scrapbook club met and I promised I'd post these layouts for people to refer to when they're ready to add their final details at home. These first two are the ones requiring stamping.  I'm showing the left page then the right page.

On the next stamped layout I changed the right page on mine to use a quilted flower instead of the ones shown in the Close To My Heart workshop guide. I used the new stamp set called "Just for You" on page 18. The stamp carrier sheet showed that I could cut the flower base out on my Cricut at 2.5" before stamping.

The next two layouts use the coordinating adhesive canvas stickers. I love their look, especially in person.

Left page has a 10" x 8" photo that you can replace with four smaller 5" x 4" photos:

12 x 12 layouts (all supplies from Close To My Heart):
Paper - "Stella," extra Chocolate and Colonial White CS
Stamps - Stella Workshop on the Go Stamp set, Token Alphabet, and "Just For You" (flower)
Inks - Cocoa, Lagoon, Sunset, Tulip
Other - Stella complements adhesive canvas stickers, Bohemian Assortment (lace doilies and buttons), 1 1/4" circle punch, 2" scalloped punch, Cricut Art Philosophy (flower), Dimensional Elements Hearts (chipboard hearts)

Wonderland Layouts

Last week we finally got enough snow that it seemed like winter. That was timely, because I have a hard time scrapbooking snow photos when it's 60 degrees out. Thursday and Friday I made four layouts for my Saturday Close To My Heart Scrapbook Club.

This first one requires stamping. Please note--I haven't added the journaling yet. If you see a large space, it's probably for journaling. Left page:

Journaling goes on the bottom right side. Right page:

Next layout also requires stamping. Left Page:

I embossed chipboard snowflakes for this layout. One of them from the right page is missing. Right Page:

This layout uses one of the Stickease sheets that goes with the Wonderland paper pack. Left page:

Right page:

Last layout is my favorite from last Christmas, a very snowy one. I loved the soft beauty outside that day and took photos all around the farm buildings, along with the time we spent with my mother-in-law, Virginia.  Left page:

Right page:

CTMH Materials:
Paper - Wonderland, White Daisy CS, Wonderland Stickease
Inks - Grey Flannel, Twilight, Chocolate
Stamps - Wonderland Workshops on the Go, Friendship alphabet
Other - Chipboard snowflakes, Pin Clips, Clear Sparkles, Shimmer brads, corner rounder; Martha Steward border punch
