For today's blog hop, I have a simple card and tag using two of our stamps. The angel seemed appropriate in light of the recent shootings, my prayers are for the families and friends of the victims. It also makes me want to hug all of my own family and friends a little more, a little tighter. I'm making the card and gift tag set for this blog hop with those in mind.
When angels announced that the Saviour was born, it was the long-awaited fulfillment of a promise. He was coming to save us from the consequences of our own sinful ways. My prayer is that He will minister to the broken hearts of the families in Connecticut and that God's people will reach out to those who are hurting or troubled and be a light to lead them to Him.
On this blog hop, a winner will be randomly chosen from comments received on a DT member's blog. The winner will be announced on the CDS blog Thursday, December 20th.
PRIZES: One lucky winner will receive a $25 Clearly Digi Stamps gift certificate for digital images!
This is the card and tag I made for my xxxxx to hold her Christmas present. (She won't be named in case she's reading this!) Digital stamps used: Angels, Little Bethlehem (sentiment on front), Christmas Card Sentiments (inside)

So very pretty - love what you have done with the angel!
The frazzled angel card hits my funny bone. Love the colors and embossing. Great cards.
I love the tag on the bag and how everything matches but is not the same. Just beautiful
Oh, I have that set of angels -- isn't it a wonderful set? Your angel is so cute. Like the embossed background. Thank you for the blog hop. Everyone has done a fab job!
Both are nice but the bag with the burlap bow is too cute.
What an adorable gift set!! LOVE that cute tag and how you decorated the inside of the card.
Such a cute set. Your card is so pretty with the gems and beautiful ribbon. Love the layout and the embossing. Bag is just wonderful.
Wow! Your card is gorgeous! Love the back too!
How beautiful! Love the embossed paper on the card. That ribbon is so pretty. That little angle is so cute. She dresses up the bag and card wonderfully. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown

I also wanted to mention that I agree that all Christians should reach out to those who hurt and especially to those in Connecticut at this time of grief. Thank you for posting that. Have a great day.
What a wonderful matching set! Love the angel with her bling! For all those angels who lost their lives last week I wish for them peace and joy. And may their families and friends be comforted through the holidays and beyond. Thanks for sharing!
