I meant to post this a couple of days ago when I made it, but the below-freezing temperatures had other plans for me. First there was the frozen water line. The next day super strong winds with below-zero wind chills made the house feel like windows were open. Northern Missouri is definitely in a deep freeze for quite a few days. When I hear about Minnesota, though, where my hubby occasionally has to work, I feel thankful it's not worse here. I'm even more thankful that I retired and no longer have to make the 30 mile drive to school during bad weather!
I found myself focusing on my scripture stamps this week that keep my thoughts on the positive things. I know God wants me to think about His love and care and to be thankful for His provision in my life. No matter how extreme the weather or circumstances, He is always the same - always wise, loving and in control. Here's one of His promises I love:

Oh I just love that turquoise and red together and I am a sucker for glitter! It's definitely been cold - I'm in North Dakota and the windchill is frightening today! Stay warm! Thanks for joining up with us in our first ever challenge at Crafty Gals Corner. You rock!
Glitter or anything that sparkles just makes my day. Lovin the card. I hope you will be back again. Thank you for taking time to post your lovely art with us.

Beautiful card Vickie! Love the colours and all that glitter!!! Fantastic!! Thanks for sharing and playing along with the Shopping Our Stash crew for the "Happy NEW Year" challenge!!
I live in Minnesota, and you definitely would not like the weather that we're having right now. It's a good time of year to stay indoors. :)
Your card is lovely--both the cheerful pops of red and the beautiful quote from Psalms.
Take care & stay warm!
Vickie, just a beautiful card as always. I love the psalm you used so beautiful and definitely goes along with the design papers you used.
Stay warm. It's freezing here in Texas too.
