More Back to School Cards with Chalk It Up

By the end of the week my eight grandkids were now all back in school, ranging from fourth grade to ninth grade. As a retired reading teacher I still get excited about the beginning of school. When they were younger they used to read to me, but they all think they're too old for that now! But I can still send them messages of encouragement. Here are five cards all made from either the retired CTMH paper pack, Chalk It Up, and their related Picture My Life cards. The first two use retired CTMH stamps that I've collected for quite a few years.

I love the retired CTMH silhouette stamp of the kids walking to school. I stamped it on a 3"x4" PML card, matted it with the star background paper and mounted it on the 4"x6" PML alphabet card.

The last three are simple using sentiments that are part of the PML cards with a few embellishments-quick and easy!

This last one has a sentiment that's my favorite of the three:

Thank you for visiting! I hope you'll also encourage the students and the teachers in your life as they begin the learning adventures of another year!

I'm sharing this project with the following challenges:

Cute as a Button #37 - Back to School
Hiding in My Craft Room #314 - Back to School
Pink and Main Challenge #24 - School
