Twist of Faith #39 - Clean and Simple

I'm always trying to learn how to make more CAS (Clean and Simple) cards. For our challenge at Twist of Faith this week I tried something new.

This week's challenge for you is to create your card in the style:

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

AND a scripture, or uplifting verse/quote or positive words of healing, encouragement, or support

I thought I'd try making a Clean and Simple card using an image that is revealed in a negative shape.  I chose a butterfly shape shadow from one of my Cricut cartridges, Straight from the Nest, and sized it to approximately fit my image. I played with the placement of my image on the card base before attaching it.  I stamped my sentiment, embossed it with a 5" x 7" dotted embossing folder, tied an orange ribbon (to emphasize the orange butterflies) around it and pop dotted it over the image. The sentiment was from a Scripture collection from Papertrey Ink.
