Twist of Faith #56 - Let's Get Sketchy

Twist of Faith Card Challenges

This week at Twist of Faith #56, we have a lovely sketch to share with you. Here's the encouraging verse that was shared this week:

Let them give thanks to the  Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Psalm 107 8-9

This wonderful sketch was created by our very own Design Team member - Hillary!  Don't you just love it?  We love Hillary, but are sad today because this will be the last challenge that Hillary will be part of our Design Team.  We are excited about her future endeavors but will miss her!  Hillary, please come back and join us often!!!!

For our challenge this week you should use the above sketch as your "map".  Feel free to stretch it, flip it, as you see fit, as long as your end creation layout resembles this original basic sketchLet your Creations begin. We can't wait to see them.

Our gracious Sponsor this week is the fabulous Bugaboo Digi Stamps!  The challenge prize for our random winner is a wonderful prize of SEVEN DIGITAL IMAGES... winner's choice!

I used the Bugaboo digi called Right Beside You Silhouette for a card for friends. I love the sentiment that came with the digi. I've been so blessed in life to have many wonderful friends. The Bible has so much to say about friendship. It gives us Christ's example about sacrificial love and teaching throughout both old and new Testaments about love and friendship indicates how important it is. One of my favorite passages comes from John:

John 15:12-15 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

I sponged ink behind the image after printing it. I used three of those colors to also sponge the edges of the white embossed fishtail "banner/ribbon" shapes. I used CTMH inks on sponges: Pacifica, Hollyhock, Autumn Terracotta, Honey, and Olive.

Sunset Inspiration came from this Incy Wincy Designs photo:
