Doodle Pantry November Release - Old West Sheriff

I'm happy to share two cards with you today that should appeal to some of my grandsons. Two of my grandkids were cowboys tonight at their Halloween Trunk or Treat at church. I wasn't surprised at their choice because I fell in love with the old west when we made several trips to Jackson, Wyoming, and the Grand Tetons. That's why I chose to make cards using "Old West Sheriff."

I had found this cool "Cowboys Ten Commandments" online so I used it inside this first card:

I used the patterned papers that come with this set but experimented by printing the gray ones on cream paper instead of white. The jute ribbon and metallic Durables Artisan Studs are from CTMH. We were having thunderstorms when I took the photos so I didn't get enough light to show off the gold glitter pen highlights that I traced over the lines in the badge.

This second card uses some woodgrain papers from My Mind's Eye and birthday sentiments that I made up for the front and the inside. The word "Wanted" is included in this digi set and has so many possibilities such as birthday invitations as well as other types of sentiments.

If you have any Western-lovin' cowpokes among your family or friends, you will certainly want to consider this set. I hope my examples are helpful! God bless you and thanks for visitin'.

I'm sharing these cards with the following challenges:

Wow, you rocked with this set. Your first card is a knockout with the trim, etc. And I love the cowboy 10 commandments. Very well done.
