Where I live the winter colors outside my window are a drab gray and brown. Even the evergreen trees take on a brownish cast in winter. My eyes are longing for the beautiful colors of spring, so it was a delight to make this card for our latest challenge at Twist of Faith:
SPRING COLOURS
and a scripture, or uplifting verse or positive words of healing, encouragement, or support
Our sponsor is From the Heart Stamps, previously known as Designed 2 Delight. They will provide seven images to a lucky winner.
I used their image called "Lil' Birdie" to make my card today.
I remember memorizing a large portion of Matthew 6 when I was twelve. The image and sentiment that I used today reminded me of verse 26, a promise that God will will help us take care of our needs like He does for the sparrows:
"Behold the fowls of the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"
