Following the Star

I still had the stamp set "Glory to God" on my desk when I saw the new Noontime Challenge from Flourish to make a card showing a time of day or night. I'd wanted to make one spotlighting the wisemen at night. I'd wanted to for quite some time, but this gave me the initiative to do it! Thank you, Flourish!

The stamp shape and frame were cut on the Cricut with the Art Philosophy cartridge. To spotlight the wise men, I stamped them with Versamark and used Black embossing powder, folded a piece of paper the size of the lighter area that I wanted to spotlight, then cut it to fit. I taped it at the top and bottom and sponged darker ink, Moonstruck, on the two sides. It's fairly fast and simple.  I used a Rhinestone Designer brad from CTMH on the ribbon.
